Opencaching is opensource. Is a Opencaching website code also freely available?
If not what should I do to get it and improve it?
Opencaching website code

Open means that data is open for everybody,
no registration needed for finding a cache.

Do You want to open up Your own node?
Or do You want to help to implement new features?
And where do You come from?
Best wishes, Mic@ (oc.de-Team)

OpenCaching IS opensource. There are at least two public repositories with the code:
http://code.google.com/p/opencaching-pl/
https://github.com/OpencachingTeam/opencaching/

Its somewhat near 95-99% of current OC.de ...
... migration is still not completed at all and OC.de still has its own private SVN repository.
But we could use github as primary repository in future.

Uh, okay, didn't know that.
But the OCPL repository is now completely synchronized with the server. Whenever something is commited to the trunk it is immediatelly updated on the production server too. We have a public virtual machine for development too.
PS. You promised to give me your code and mysqldump, remember?
